Cub Scouts is built around a lively variety of games, crafts, music, storytelling, play acting, spiritual fellowship and the outdoors. The Cub Scout program focuses around six activity areas: The Natural World, Outdoors, Creative Expression, Healthy Living, Home and Community, and Canada and the World. Individual interests and skills are recognized through stars, badges and awards.
The outdoors is an essential part of the boys' and girls' Cub Scout program. Weekend events, hikes and overnight camping opportunities round out the Cubbing experience.
Integral to the Cub Scout experience is the first taste of leadership opportunities. A Cub Pack is divided into smaller groups called Sixes, with more senior Cubs selected to be Sixers and Seconds as they take on responsibility for leadership within their Six and help the leaders run the Pack.
Cub Scouts meet on your choice of either:
- Monday from 7:00 until 8:30 or
- Thursday from 7:00 until 8:30
at Bolton Rotary Youth Center.
