Uniforms

In March 2011, Scouts Canada unveiled new uniforms, marking the first uniform change in over two decades. Designed by Joe Fresh designer Joseph Mimran, the new uniforms bring a fresh, comfortable style while keeping many of the proud traditions of over a hundred years of Scouting.

The new uniforms are in Scout Shops now. The nearest Scout Shops to Bolton are:

New youth and leaders registering in 2011 and youth moving up to a new section this year, will start with the new uniforms — as will those returning youth who have outgrown their previous uniform. Youth already registered and staying in the same section, who have a current uniform that fits them, do not need to purchase the new uniform until they move up to the next section (although they can choose to switch to the new uniform if they wish to).

The new Rover Scout uniform is a patriotic, bold red — and is the same shirt colour that leaders will wear, emphasizing the leadership role expected of Rover Scouts.
