In March 2011, Scouts Canada unveiled new uniforms, marking the first uniform change in over two decades. Designed by Joe Fresh designer Joseph Mimran, the new uniforms bring a fresh, comfortable style while keeping many of the proud traditions of over a hundred years of Scouting.

The new Scouter uniform is a patriotic, bold red — and is the same shirt colour that Rover Scouts will wear, emphasizing the leadership role expected of Rover Scouts.
The new uniform will be phased in over the next couple of years. 1st Bolton Scout Group leaders who already have a tan shirt uniform can continue to wear it until their section changes over to the new uniforms.
